How #MyOneWord2020 Influenced My Space

  The year 2020 was an historic year. For generations, scholars will write about the events of the year of the pandemic known as COVID19 or the Coronavirus, and because of the social injustices we have seen in the United States of America. This year also marked my seventh year of my #100BookJourney . And my selection of #MyOneWord to begin that journey has absolutely transformed the way I will choose to remember this horrible, chaotic, challenging, scary....and, yet, WONDERFUL year.  When most of our country (and much of the world) was placed in lockdown in late February or early March, I thought achieving the #100BookGoal would be easy. Movie theaters were closed, professional and collegiate sports leagues were shut down and restaurants were limited to carry-out -- all of which should have created a surplus of time. But the reality -- for me -- was that "escaping" or "making time to read" was more of a challenge than ever. Instead, I filled my time reading epistem...
